Lauren and Amy first met in Scottish Opera, where Amy is Principal Oboe and Lauren Third Horn. Sharing a great love of chamber music, they were joined by Hebba - a recent graduate of the Royal Scottish Conservatoire who also has extensive chamber music experience.

Amy is an award-winning chamber musician and has guested as Principal Oboe with all of the Scottish-based orchestras, as well as many around the UK. She also lecturers at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

Hebba, now a Master’s student at the Conservatoire, has performed as part of many music festivals across the globe, including the Aurora Chamber Music Festival in Sweden, the Lammermuir Festival, the Forum Musikae Academia International de Música in Madrid and the BBC Proms with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra/NYOS.

Lauren freelances regularly throughout Scotland with orchestras including BBC Scottish Symphony, Royal Scottish National Orchestra and Scottish Ballet and, prior to her position in Scottish Opera, worked as Principal Horn in the Mittelsaechsische Philharmonie in Germany.

As a trio, they have a vast range of experience and take great pleasure in bringing the lesser-known works for horn, oboe and piano to venues around Scotland.
