Join us for a celebration of music-making from some of Scotland finest young players, supported by professional musicians, curated by the principal horn of The Orchestra of Scottish Opera, Sue Baxendale.
Featuring chamber ensembles and talented soloists from our local specialist music school at Douglas Academy, this promises to be a lively and thrilling mix of repertoire, and a close insight into what is available to any young musician across Scotland in this unique educational opportunity fully funded by the Scottish Government and East Dunbartonshire Council.
The programme will include Beethoven’s Sextet op81b for two horns and string quartet, to commemorate the 200th anniversary of his death on 26th March 1827
